Emily stood up in her cot and our dear, sweet, Josie said “Ag, man.”
It’s end-of-summer hayfever time …
We’re all looking forward to getting away for a while next week. Before then, though, Sophie has her first overnight EEG; I have my first overnight in a hospital Lazyboy. It’ll be a bit like business class before lie-flat beds, I definitely have the better deal.
She’s certainly not “unchanged” in the Bilbo Baggins sense, but “well-preserved” doesn’t remotely do justice to my gran at ninety. She’s a spritely 90, a vibrant 90; a little more wrinkly than last year perhaps; short but not as short as the pic suggests – I liked the lighting, but she’s rather unfairly surrounded by [...]
Our little girl was born at 9pm last night …
Day five and still no sign of the little critter popping out.
“Oh … bovver” is Sophie’s latest plaintive lament when such lament is appropriate. MGW and I have moved beyond plaintive laments. Time for this baby to pop out. Josie was born on her due date; Sophie was born on the 8th day after her due date. We’re at due day + 3 and powerless, clueless [...]
