… at first we thought a cat must have brought it in. Turns out somebody was trying out her new teeth. Yeuuurrrgggh. It was a while before we could contemplate dinner so, of course, I feel obliged to pass it on.

You laugh … perhaps not the first thought that passed through MGW’s head, but certainly one of them. I had to perform a close examination (of the worm) and assure her it was, in fact, an earthworm. Any corroboration received with relief …
